My toy camera

Pogo branded toy camera with a pin hole projector.

I like taking pictures with a real camera, but I also have a toy camera. Here is one of them. :) It shows pictures of various animals when I press the shutter button. There is a switch too which lights a bulb within the camera & shows the photo on the wall!

My butti

I had already given you a glimpse of my "butti" (basket) long back. Now I show where it is kept, out of the way. :)

The "butti" is kept in a shelf with a broken door.

A closeup of the contents of my butti.

My Lalbag Visit!

Lalbag glass house with the lights lit at dusk

Hello all! I am back after a looooong time. Do you know I go to two schools now? Prayag Montessori (where they have broken my room & building new) & the new Summer Camp where there are two slides to play! The Summer Camp has a Lion resting its head on its paws. :)

Nana's note: Om's regular Montessori is being expanded during the summer vacations & the other he is talking about Plant Kids where we have admitted him for the summer camp. The Lion is the one on their logo.

My grandparents, Chitra avva & Chennai thatha, have come here & they take me to the new park (it also has a slide) & temple every evening. They also took me to a big park called Lalbag, which does not have a slide. :( We also took Gokul appaiah. He also likes photography like me. He also teaches me to draw. He draws me Noddy, cars, trains, buildings on my slate. So I took their photograph in the big park without the slide.

Gokul appaiah, Chennai thatha & Chitra avva, clicked by me :)

Now some other photographs taken by Gokul appaiah. I was too busy playing & roaming around to take more pictures. :)

Me with my grandparents in front an uncle on a horse.

Do you like my elephant savaari? :)

And my bull savaari?

Thats it about my Lalbag visit. Only one photo by me in this post. :( But please do keep visiting for more photos clicked by me. :)

Of cameras & Om's new learnign curve

Thank you all for encouraging us to keep updating this fledgling blog filled with photographs taken by our photographer kid, Om. :)

Om the Photographer - fixing his toy camera to my mini tripod. ;)

This blog has already seen its first 20 posts and more are certainly on its way. But may be a bit slower.

Because of the loss of my mobile SE K750i, which was Om's tool of choice, I had to buy a new C702 phone (little bro of Bond's C902). Without his old trusty K750i, Om is facing a learning curve all over again. I let Om try out my Sony point & shoot camera DSC W60, but it was too big for his hands. Poor fellow could not properly press the shutter button. It just didn't come in his grasp. :(

And now am allowing him to take his own time with the camera in my C702. It took me some time to get to know all the features in it! Its a full fledged camera to the core, not at all like the sorry contraption thats fit onto more expensive phones from the Nokia stable.

The below one is taken by my wife's cousin with my C702. Some more pics taken with the C702 are available on my personal blog too.

Jedi Om ;)

Am trying to filter out presentable ones from the old repository in parallel to Om's new experimental shots. I will keep posting them whenever I find something of worth and of course, when am free enough too. :(

Until then, keep checking & pls do spread the word. :)
